Back to school is the theme these last two weeks! San Jose State University started up their Fall 2012 Semester today and everyone is bustling around trying to find where their classes are. Certain programs at SJSU and other colleges, require students to obtain individual health insurance.
If you are under 26 years old, you could possibly still be on your parents’ plan. However, if you are 26 or older and trying to go back to school to be a nurse or a police officer, chances are, you’re going to need some individual insurance. If you are in San Jose, CA or a neighboring city, please give us a call at the office! We would love to introduce some affordable, quality plans to you that you may not have thought of before.
To use a broker is completely free to you. Why use one? Well, I spent 40 minutes on hold with Health Net and Anthem Blue Cross earlier this week. You definitely don’t want to waste your time doing things like that when you don’t need to. If you have someone on your side, guiding you on how to answer tricky questions, or just being there for you if something goes wrong, then you have gained!
A nursing student in their 20’s looking for health insurance could get a plan for about $80 a month. This is a great deal, especially because you are also required to have it. It’s great major medical insurance and it’s issued through Health Net CA Farm Bureau. It’s a great company and one that we sell often here at Brauer Insurance Services.
If you are a nursing student, about to lose your parent’s medical plan, or in a police academy, please give us a call! We can get you a quote immediately and send you on your way to the profession you will love!
